BostonDOG needs volunteers from all of Boston's neighborhoods so that it is truly representative of all of Boston dog owners' wishes.

If you'd like to be a neighborhood representative, please leave a message in this forum with your (and your dog's) name, your neighborhood and any other relevant information (such as which park you frequent.) If you'd rather not post that information here, feel free to email it to info at bostondog dot org.

Hello-
I just moved back east after living in LA for a couple years. We are so used to dog parks all over and being part of this community, I was hoping something like that existed out here. I would love to do whatever is necessary to make Boston more dog friendly.

I just got a job in the Pru, and will be moving to the city in the next few months...but it will be near a park.

any tips welcome, and let me know how I can help.

I thought I was already listed here, but I guess not.

I am the chairperson of RoDogRun in Dorchester (www.rodogrun.org). We've been around for just about a year now, and we specifically would like to see a dog recreation space in Ronan Park, Dorchester (near Fields Corner), but would be happy with a space anywhere in our part of town (Pope John Paul Park, Dorchester Park, etc.).

I am mom to 6-year-old Buckner the Greyhound.

I'd do anything to make the city a better place for my best friend. I live in the Savin Hill Neighborhood of Dorchester. Starka is a 1.5 year old Pit Bull/Boxer Mix. We frequent Malibu Beach, Savin Hill Park, and we're looking forward to exploring more of Dorchester and Southie this spring!
